McCall real estate: McCall is located att the southern end of Payette Lake in Valley County. The area is known for its clean air and the mountains which makes McCall a popular year-round recreational resort town. In 1914 came the arrival of the Idaho Northern Pacific Railroad. The railroad allowed the residents of Boise Valley easy access to the mountains. In the 1920s, the Idaho State Land Board began leasing vacation homes along the lake.
